Vibrant, primary school inspired, train platform mural. Redland station, Bristol

I teamed up with illustrator and fellow mural painter, Zoe Power, to run a series of creative workshops with Cotham Gardens Primary School about their local area and the aspects of the community they enjoy. Their fantastic creations helped influence our final artwork. Zoe and I separately drew out characters based on the kid's characters and then combined all these elements into a finished design.

We also added heaps of colour and movement into the mural artwork to help brighten up this unloved space under Lovers' Walk bridge on Redland train platform, in Bristol.

The project was funded by Severnside Rail Partnership, Redland and Cotham Amenities Society and the Parent, Teacher and Friends Group from Cotham Gardens School. Hamilton & Hodson Upholsterers, who are based in the station building on Redland Train Station platform, were also involved in supporting and shaping this project. Permissions were gratefully received from Great Western Railway and Network Rail.
