For 2021’s Fedrigoni 365 calendar book I was assigned the number two and the 'seed' word "hard" for my illustration.

I'd been thinking a lot about games at the time and the game 'Paper, Scissors, Stone'. So my image developed from there with a nod to that hand game, and - on a more obvious level - a positive fist-bump moment between two friends. The curve of each arm forms the number ‘2’.
