I illustrated three beer can labels for a Session IPA, Pale Ale and a fruity Raspberry Milk Stout, with the inventing titles of each beer informing the illustration direction. ‘What A Tripa’ lent itself to a psychedelic landscape of loopy mushrooms and wide eyed shapes. Schools of curious and expressive fish in their underwater sea environment decorate the label for ‘Deep Dive’. And, wrapping around the stout brew is a ribbon-based character aptly unraveling in a dark cosmos of explosions and stars for ‘Unravel’.

There’s a shared, limited-colour palette across the three designs. And, I constructed a bespoke alphabet for all the necessary typography. Scroll down to see each label and the full type text.
